Italy: unveiled the new Allianz Milano 2024/25! (and the images of official presentation at Allianz Tower)

The new Allianz Milano for the upcoming 2024/25 season was presented yesterday at the Allianz Tower, headquarters of the insurance-financial group that is the team’s main sponsor.
A partner of the Superlega’s side for six years, Allianz is also supporting the youth sector starting from this year.

“Our sponsorships all have a common thread, which links the sporting activities of high-level teams with the activities carried out in the social and youth world“, said Maurizio Devescovi, General Manager of Allianz S.p.A.

“I am happy and proud to be here in the Allianz Tower with those who, for the sixth season, support our journey. Allianz supports us not only in a sporting project, but in a real value project,” added President Lucio Fusaro.

Allianz Milano achieved third place in the SuperLega last season and, for the first time in history, also a prestigious qualification for Champions League.
The team was assembled as usual by sports director Fabio Lini, and is ready to be led by the confirmed technical staff led by head coach Roberto Piazza and his assistant, Nicola Daldello.
Six confirmations, and seven new arrivals for the team, including outside hitter Davide Gardini, last year with Padova’s jersey and son of volleyball legend Andrea Gardini, middle blocker Edoardo Caneschi, in Piacenza in the last three seasons, the young Matteo Staforini and Tommaso Barotto, libero and opposite, respectively, Japanese outside hitter Tatsunori Otsuka, from Panasonic Panthers, Canadian middle blocker Jordan Schnitzer, Champion of France with Saint-Nazaire, and Olympic Gold medalist Yacine Louati who, after an experience in Poland with the jersey of Asseco Resovia, he decided to return to Italy where he already played with the jersey of Padova and Monza.
To complete the team six confirmations: young diagonal Paolo Porro and opposite Ferre Reggers, young setter Nicola Zonta, libero Damiano Catania and veterans Matey Kaziyski and captain Matteo Piano.

The event, presented by the voice of volleyball on Rai, Maurizio Colantoni, took place in the Auditorium of the Allianz Tower, in the presence of the press and partners/sponsors, with speeches by the President Lucio Fusaro, Coach Roberto Piazza and the General Manager of Allianz S.p.A. Maurizio Devescovi.
Also present were illustrious guests to represent the political and sports institutions of the territory, including MEP Lara Magoni and Massimo Achini, President of CSI Milano.
The offical presentation in Torre Allianz, which saw players and technical staff present, was also the occasion to unveil the new Allianz Milano competition jerseys with the official technical partner Errea.

On Sunday, September 29, Milano will play on the field of Gioiella Prisma Taranto in their debut in 2024/25 season.
