Poland: Cuprum Stilon Gorzów – Nowak-Mosty MKS Będzin 3-1 in advance of Round 5

In the advance of 5th round of PlusLiga, Cuprum Stilon Gorzów secured a 3-1 (25:23, 25:19, 18:25, 25:21) home victory over newcomers Nowak-Mosty MKS Będzin, a result that marks the third win of the season for coach Andrzej Kowal’s team, while Będzin suffered their third defeat.
The top scorers for the winners were Mathijs Desmet, who left the court with 17 points to his name, Kamil Kwasowski who added 15, and Chizoba Neves Atu, who also contributed with 11 points.
On the other side of the net, Dominik Depowski and Damian Schulz scored 16 points each, while Artur Ratajczak added 13.
The winners were dominant in attack and from the service line, tallying 84 points in serves, while MKS Będzin’s strength lay in their blocking game.
Mathijs Desmet, with 67% attack efficiency, earned the MVP title with 14 successful attacks, 1 ace, and 2 blocks.
This victory moves Cuprum Stilon Gorzów into sixth place in the current charts.
