Turkey: 2024/25 season starts today – all results of Round 1, with 4 games ended at tie break!

2024/25 SMS Grup Efelerligi started today with all scheduled games valid for first round.

The same did Altekma over Arkas Spor, 3-2 (25:22, 25:27, 22:25, 25:18, 15:13), with 34 points from opposite Miguel Gutierrez Suarez, two more than Georg Grozer, for Arkas, and Galatasaray HDI Sigorta, who down On Hotels Alanya Belediyespor with the same result, also 3-2 (20:25, 25:20, 25:17, 25:27, 15:13), with 28 points from top scorer and Olympic Gold Medalist Jean Patry.
3 points for one of the title contenders Ziraat Bankkart, who down Akkuş Belediyesi without major problems, in just three sets, 3-0 (25:17, 25:17, 25:23), and for Fenerbahçe Medicana, who won on the field of Bursa Büyükşehir Belediyespor with the score of 1-3 (17:25, 25:16, 20:25, 20:25).
