France: Tours down defending champions Saint Nazaire in advance of Round 11

Round 11 of 2024/25 Marmara Spike League started today with the advance between Tours and titleholders Saint Nazaire, ended with the score of 3-1 (22:25, 25:18, 25:17, 25:20) in favor of the home team that, after a disastrous start, celebrated third victory in a row counting all competition (including CEV Cup game against Schönenwerd from Switzerland).
After 1 hour and 42 minutes of play, the winners made the difference above all from the service line, with 9 aces to 1, and were led in score by Hermans Egleskalns, top scorer of the match with 19 points to his name through 51% in attack and 1 ace. Michael Marshman also contributed with 16, while Antoine Pothron and Gonzalo Quiroga added 11 each (1 ace and 100% in attack, 10/10 for the latter).
Round 11 will close tomorrow with all the other scheduled games.
