Champions League: Fenerbahçe close third week with a win in Pool B

Third week of 2024/25 CEV Champions League has been completed today with the last game of Pool B, also ended at tie break after the success of Italy’s Mint Vero Volley Monza on Tuesday.
Fenerbahçe Medicana Istanbul from Turkey won in Greece, on the field of Olympiacos Piraeus with the score of 2-3 (25:16, 14:25, 19:25, 37:25, 8:15) mostly thanks to a better performance in serving, with 12 aces to 2, and an impressive performance from opposite Drazen Luburic, who left the court with as many as 33 points through 57% in attack and 4 aces. Osman Durmaz also contributed with 6 winning block, while Aleksandar Atanasijevic top-scored the hosts with 19 points after 143 minutes of play.
