Club World Championship: 3 points for already qualified Foolad Sirjan. Sara Cruzeiro down Trento at tie break!

2024 Club World Championship continued today with other two game.
In Pool B, Brazilian powerhouse Sada Cruzeiro delivered a great performance defeating Italian giants Itas Trentino in a nail-biting five-set match (19:25, 25:21, 18:25, 25:16, 15:12) in Uberlândia.
Led by cptain Wallace de Souza’s stunning 29-point effort, the winners stayed alive in the tournament—but their fate now rests on another match.
To reach the semifinals, in fact, they needs Iran’s Shahdab Yazd to lose or fail to win 3-0 or 3-1 against Argentina’s Ciudad Voley in decisive showdown.
If Shahdab secures all three points, Sada Cruzeiro’s journey will end.
The semifinal stakes are high as, whoever advances as second placed from Pool B, will face undefeated Foolad Sirjan, who, in POOL A, crushed Praia Clube 3-0 (25:16, 25:13, 25:21), led by Alireza Abdolhamidi who led the charge with 18 points to his name, continuing his stellar form.
Meanwhile, Pool A’s last semifinal spot will be decided when Italy’s Cucine Lube Civitanova takes on Egypt’s Al Ahly SC.
The winner will battle Trentino for a chance at gold.
