Poland: Lublin and Częstochowa win advances of Round 18

Round 18 of 2024/25 Plusliga or, if you prefer, Round 3 of second leg started today with first two games.
Predictions respected in both matches, in which the winners earned three points.
BOGDANKA LUK Lublin needed four sets to prevail over Barkom Każany Lwów, 3-1 (26:24, 22:25, 25:16, 25:15) and, after two hard-fought sets, the winners literally destroyed Ukrainian side, second-to-last in the standings.
To make the difference an impressive performance from the service line with 13 aces (4 for Barkom), while Wilfredo Leon earned MVP award with 20 points to his name through 52% in attack, 2 blocks and 3 aces.
Meanwhile, Steam Hemarpol Norwid Częstochowa literally destroyed Nowak-Mosty MKS Będzin on the road with the score of 0-3 (15:25, 16:25, 12:25), led by top scorer and MVP Milad Ebadipour, who left the court with 19 points through 60% in attack, 2 aces and 1 block.
Round 18 will continue tomorrow with other 3 games: PSG Stal Nysa will welcome PGE Projekt Warszawa, Ślepsk Malow Suwałki will face Cuprum Stilon Gorzów while, in the evening, Trefl Gdańsk will welcome PGE GiEK Skra Bełchatów.
