Round 16 of 2024/25 SMS Grup Efelerligi has been entirely played today.
Ziraat Bankkart, absolute leaders so far with 40 points in the standings after today’s game, literally destroyed Halkbank after a clean 0-3 (22:25, 17:25, 18:25) win on the field of the rivals, who now slip to third place at -2 from Galatasaray HDI Sigorta who, with 33 points in the current charts, easily won on the field of last-placed Akkuş Belediyesi also in straight sets, 0-3 (20:25, 23:25, 21:25).
Behind them at fourth place Arkas Spor, who destroy Cizre Bld. 3-0 (25:15, 25:14, 25:18) with 30 points and, at -1, Spor Toto, who needed four sets to prevail over newcomers Istanbul Gençlik Spor on the road, 1-3 (16:25, 21:25, 25:18, 20:25).
The other two games both ended at tie break with two away victories: On Hotels Alanya Belediyespor won on the field of Türşad with the score of 2-3 (16:25, 21:25, 25:23, 25:23, 6:15) while Altekma won on the field of Bursa Büyükşehir Belediyespor, 2-3 (23:25, 25:20, 25:18, 20:25, 8:15).
