France: Tourcoing struggle but down Plessis Robinson in advance of Round 18

Round 18 of 2024/25 Marmara Spike League started today with the advance between Tourcoing, who suffered a heavy defeat in a game that closed previous round on Sunday on the field of Chaumont, and last-placed Plessis Robinson.
Tourcoing bounced back from two consecutive defeats with a dramatic 3-2 (25:20, 22:25, 21:25, 25:20, 15:10) victory and, despite trailing 1-2, the league leaders staged a comeback to edge out a very combative rival. Star opposite Pablo Koukartsev led the charge with an amazing performance with 29 points to his name including two blocks and 54% in attack to earn the MVP title.
While Tourcoing solidified their top position, Plessis-Robinson remains winless away from home and rooted at the bottom of the standings.
Round 18 will close tomorrow with the other five games.
