CEV Cup: Trentino Itas last quarterfinalist! Brasov easily defeated in straight sets

After a four sets win in Romania in 2024/25 CEV Cup playoffs, Italian powerhouse Trentino Itas easily defeatedCSM Corona Brasov with a clean sweep, 3-0 (25:17, 25:18, 25:17), to become last quarterfinalist of the competition.
At the ilT Quotidiano Arena, well supported by 2,179 home fans, the winners keeps their European dream alive with a solid team performance and high-efficiency attack (71%).
Determined to bounce back from their recent Coppa Italia setback, Daniele Lavia with 17 points, Gabi Garcia with 14 points and 86% attack efficiency, and Alessandro Michieletto with 12 points led the charge for a dominant clean sweep.
Coach Fabio Soli gave young talents Fedrici and Boschini a chance in the final moments, both scoring as Trentino closed out the match in style.
Now they’ll face Chaumont from France in the quarterfinals, with matches set for February 12 (away) and February 26 (home).
