CEV Cup: Resovia first team qualified to quarterfinals!

After winning first leg in Cyprus in four sets, Asseco Resovia Rzeszów defeated Pafiakos Pafos 3-0 (25:23, 27:25, 25:16) in second leg of 2024/25 CEV Cup Round of 16, securing their spot in quarterfinals.
Despite the result, the match wasn’t easy, as the visiting side, who had a great path in the competition so far, pushed the Polish powerhouse in the first two sets, capitalizing on several errors.
Jakub Bucki with 19 points through 73% in attack and 3 blocks led the charge followed by Bartosz Bednorz who added 10, while Nikolaos Eleftheriou with 18 points was the most prolific player for Pafos.
