Poland: Ślepsk Malow Suwałki down Nowak-Mosty MKS Będzin in a game that closed Round 23

Round 23 of 2024/25 Plusliga or, if you prefer, Round 8 of second leg, has been concluded today with the clash between Ślepsk Malow Suwałki and newcomers Nowak-Mosty MKS Będzin, ended with the score of 3-1 (25:19, 25:23, 26:28, 25:17) in favor of the home team, who reach ninth place in the standings at -5 from PGE GiEK Skra Bełchatów, who opened this round on Friday with a straight sets win.
On the other hand, Będzin continued to struggle this season, now second-to-last in the current charts, still figthting to avoid relegation, despite a strong performance in blocking today with 11 points from this element and a good performance from Brandon Koppers, who left the court with 18 points to his name.
After more than two hours of play, Pawel Halaba earned a well-deserved MVP award after his 18 points through 48% in attack and 4 aces, while Bartosz Filipiak led the charge with 26 points through 56% in attack, 2 blocks and 1 ace.
