France: Toulouse stun Chaumont in advance of Round 21

Round 21 of 2024/25 Marmara Spike League started today with the advance between Toulouse and Chaumont, ended at tie break in favor of the home team, 3-2 (22:25, 28:26, 25:21, 15:25, 15:13).
In front of more than 2000 home fans, and after losing first set, Toulouse canceled the rivals’ impressive performance in blocking (14 to 5) and the good game of Pierre Toledo and Mathis Henno, who scored 24 and 20 points, respectively, to continue their good season rising to fifth place with 33 points and at +2 from Poitiers, who tomorrow will face Sète.
Nathan Feral led the charge with 21 points through 53% in attack and 4 of the winners’ 5 aces.
Chaumont remain to the top of the standings at +1 from their closest pursuers Montpellier, who tomorrow will welcome Saint Nazaire, and +2 from Tourcoing and Tours. The first one will visit Nice while Tours will welcome Cannes.
Also tomorrow Plessis Robinson will face Narbonne in a direct clash to stay in Ligue A.
