France: Saint Nazaire down Cannes at tie break in last game of Round 23

Round 23 of 2024/25 Matmara Spike League has been completed today with the last game between titleholders Saint Nazaire and newcomers Cannes, ended in favor of the home team with the score of 3-2 (25:21, 25:21, 21:25, 18:25, 19:17), almost wasting a 2-0 lead.
Saint Nazaire, who are fighting to avoid relegation, earned two very important points for the standings, now at +4 from last-placed Plessis Robinson, defeated in straight sets on the field of Nice on Saturday, and with the same number of points, 19, of second-to-last Narbonne, also defeated on the road on Saturday on the field of Toulouse. Interestingly, both Nice and Toulouse claimed their tickets to playoffs!
