Poland: Yacine Louati returns to Asseco Resovia Rzeszów for 2025/26 season
2 min read
French outside hitter Yacine Louati officially choosed Poland over Italy, and is making a comeback to Asseco Resovia Rzeszów for the 2025/26 season.
After a season with Allianz Milano, with he will ready to play playoffs quarterfinals against Cucine Lube Civitanova, the transfer is now official.
The 33-year-old outside hitter is no stranger to Polish volleyball, as he previously played for Jastrzębski Węgiel in 2020/21, also winning the Polish Championship, and later for Asseco Resovia, in 2023/24.
Despite moving to the Italian league, his stay there will be short-lived.
In an interview with FFvolley, he confirmed his decision:
“I’m going back to Resovia. Italy has a strong league with a great history, but for me, Poland is the future of volleyball.”
