No.2 in the standings VBK Kelag Wörther-See-Löwen Klagenfurt scored six points in their fight to stay in Austria’s elite competition, having played two games: on Saturday, after losing first set, they won on the field of No.4 UNIONvolleys Bisamberg-Hollabrunn – with the score of 1-3 (25:20, 26:28, 21:25, 18:25), after being down 24-22 in second set, while today, in the only one game played, they sweep last-placed HIB Volley Graz in straight sets, partially 23:25, 16:25 and 14:25 to celebrate their fourth win in this part of the competition.
Current leaders Sportunion z+p St. Pölten also won in Graz, on Saturday, in four sets too, 1-3 (17:25, 25:23, 18:25, 18:25).
VBC TLC Weiz, the relegated team last season, consolidated third place with a 0-3 (20:25, 20:25, 14:25) win on the field of hotVolleys Wien.
