Poland: Barkom remain in Plusliga! Stal Nysa relegated after losing the direct clash in advance of last Round

Round 30 of 2024/25 Plusliga or, if you prefer, Round 15 of second leg or last round of regular season started today with the very important clash between Barkom Każany Lwów and PSG Stal Nysa or, more precisely, the direct last act to stay in Polish elite competition.
The game, ended with the score of 3-1 (25:22, 24:26, 25:21, 25:14) in favor of the home team, brought so the end of Stal Nysa in Plusliga, relegated together with newcomers Nowak-Mosty MKS Będzin and GKS Katowice!
With 22 points to his name, 3 aces, 3 blocks and 57% in attack, Märt Tammearu led the charge earning MVP honors in the most important match of the season, well supported by Ilia Kovalov and Vasyl Tupchii, who added 19 and 15 points, respectively, while Michał Gierżot tallied 20 for relegated side.
Round 30 will continue tomorrow with the game between also relegated GKS Katowice and ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle, still aiming 4th place.
