Russia: Zenit Kazan and Zenit St.Petersburg one step to final!

Games 2 of Semifinals of 2024/25 Russian Superliga were played these days.
After a dominant win in Game 1, regular season absolute leaders Zenit-Kazan are just one win away from finals after another confident 3-0 victory over Dynamo-LO (25:19, 25:13, 25:16), again in front of their home crowd.
The defending champions controlled the match from start to finish and, despite Dynamo-LO strengthened their lineup by bringing in outside hitter Denis Biryukov and middle blocker Artiom Dovgan, both of whom missed the first match, it wasn’t enough.
Meanwhile, Zenit head coach Alexey Verbov kept the winning lineup unchanged.
Now leading the series 2-0, Zenit Kazan heads to Sosnovy Bor for Game 3 on April 7. One more win, and they’re off to the final.
Just like in Game 1, No.5 in regular season Zenit St. Petersburg won again on the field of Belogorie Belgorod, and again at tie break, 2-3 (28:30, 25:21, 25:23, 22:25, 8:15).
