Turkey: Alanya down Halkbank again to reach final for 5th place. Spor Toto and Altekma to Game 3

Playoffs for 5th place of 2024/25 SMS Grup Efelerligi continued today with Games 2 of best-of-three series.
After a disappointing fifth place in regular season and a home defeat on Saturday, together with the end of cooperation with head coach Igor Kolakovic, then replaced by Radostin Stoychev, Halkbank continued to struggle collecting a heavy straight sets defeat on the field of No.8 On Hotels Alanya Belediyespor, 3-0 (25:21, 25:21, 25:23). For the winners, this mean a ticket for final for 5th place.
On the other game, No.7 Altekma level the score in their series after a hard-fought 3-0 (25:17, 25:23, 28:26) win over No.6 Spor Toto. Decisive Game 3 on Friday, and the winners will join Alanya to final.
