Polish Cup: Jastrzębski Węgiel will face Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie in final! Lublin and Warszawa defeated in straight sets

TAURON Puchar Polski Mężczyzn 2025, 2025 Polish Cup, is heating up as fans prepare for a spectacular final showdown between JSW Jastrzębski Węgiel and Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie.
Both teams secured clean 3–0 wins in their semifinal, setting the stage for a thrilling rematch of last year’s final.
In first semifinal, Jastrzębski Węgiel delivered an amazing performance defeating Bogdanka LUK Lublin 3–0 (25:23, 25:23, 25:23) in a game that was closer only on the scoreboard, as it was always under the winners’ control.
MVP Benjamin Toniutti orchestrated the attack brilliantly, helping his team stay always one step ahead throughout the match, while Łukasz Kaczmarek led the charge with 15 points to his name, well supported by Timothee Carle and Tomasz Fornal, who added 13 each and Anton Brehme who tallied 10 points.
Lublin’s top scorer Kewin Sasak, poured in 16 points, and Wilfredo Leon added 11, but their team couldn’t keep pressure consistently.
In second semifinal, Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie swept PGE Projekt Warszawa (25:18, 25:21, 25:21) in a match that highlighted the rivals great play, taking control early and never looked back.
MVP Karol Butryn delivered a very good performance, leaving the court with 17 points through 50% in attack, 2 aces, and 1 block, while Aaron Russell and Bartosz Kwolek added 13 and 12, respectively.
The winners also dominated statistically, being better in attack, service, and blocking (9–7), while making fewer unforced errors (17 to 20).
Despite strong efforts from Kevin Tillie and Linus Weber, who both scored 11 points, Warszawa struggled in reception and couldn’t match the play of their opponents.
