Italy: Trento first finalist! Piacenza defeated also in Game 3!

Itas Trentino is the first finalist of 2024/25 SuperLega Credem Banca after securing a decisive 3-1 home win in Game 3 of semifinals against Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza.
The sold-out arena, boasting as many ad 4000 volleyball fans, witnessed a dominant Trento performance with set scores of 25:21, 22:25, 25:19, and 25:18.
Flavio Gualberto led the charge with 17 points to his name through an impressive 88% in attack and 3 winning blocks.
With this result, the winners not only secured a spot in the Scudetto Final but also qualified for the 2025/26 Champions League and Supercoppa Italiana.
Meanwhile, Piacenza, despite their early leads in first set and strong efforts in all three games, struggled with key errors and will now fight for third place against the loser of the Perugia-Civitanova series, which currently favors Perugia 2-1.
The next semifinal match—Civitanova vs. Perugia—will be played on Easter Sunday, April 20, at 15:20 CET.
