Europen Golden League: all results of week 2 – Finland and Greece to the top!

Second week of 2025 European Golden League has been completed on Sunday with four Teams for three Final Four spots!
After two weeks of high-energy action, Finland, Greece, Romania, and Israel are still undefeated but, with host Czech Republic automatically in the Final Four, only three of them will advance!
At SC Verde Podgorica, Montenegro, Finland lead the current charts with dominant wins over Czech Republic and the hosts, 3-1 (20:25, 25:14, 25:22, 25:23) and 0-3 (18:25, 10:25, 23:25), respectively, while Greece and Romania followed closely with strong performances.
At Olympic Center Daugavpils, Greece sweep North Macedonia 3-0 (25:22, 25:21, 25:20) and hosts Latvia, 1-3 (25:23, 23:25, 17:25, 22:25) while, in Croatia, at ŠC Višnjik – Dvorana Krešimir Ćosić in Zadar, Romania trampled over Spain 3-0 (25:19, 25:20, 25:20) and beat Pool hosts only at tie break, 2-3 (21:25, 22:25, 29:27, 25:20, 14:16).
Israel surprised many with back-to-back wins, including a hard-fought success against Slovakia 3-1 (25:23, 25:18, 23:25, 25:15) and a rejected comeback against Portugal after leading the game 0-2, 2-3 (13:25, 18:25, 25:20, 26:24, 14:16).
The race is tight and very interesting, and surely one perfect team will miss out making the final week unmissable!
Final Four is scheduled for July, 5/6 2025 in Brno, Czech Republic.
