France: Round 4 completed – Plessis Robinson down Montpellier! Tours alone to the top. Toulouse, Cannes, Tourcoing, Narbonne and Paris ok

After the advance played on Thursday, in which Tours needed five sets to prevail over Poitiers, Round 4 of 2025/26 Marmara Spike League continued today with the remaining six games.
Montpellier missed their chance to catch or overtake Tours to the top of the standings, falling 3-2 (25:21, 25:19, 19:25, 23:25, 15:11) to Plessis-Robinson. After coming back from two sets down, Montpellier side couldn’t complete the turnaround.
The winners shone with Marin Dukic and Nathan Canovas, who scored 15 points each, and Joevin Wabala, who added 13, while Vincent Mathias led Montpellier with 18 points.
Elsewhere, Tourcoing moved to third place after defeating Sète 1-3 (25:14, 21:25, 23:25, 24:26) on the road, with the same number of points of Plessis Robinson and Narbonne, who edged Nice at tie-break, 3-2 (18:25, 25:22, 15:25, 26:24, 15:12).
Toulouse earned their first win against Saint-Nazaire, 3-1 (26:28, 25:21, 28:26, 25:14), and Cannes downed last-placed and still winless Chaumont also in four sets, 1-3 (25:21, 27:29, 24:26, 21:25), while Paris won away on the field of newcomers Ajaccio with the same result, 1-3 (25:20, 20:25, 19:25, 23:25).
