Poland: Barkom Każany Lwów down Chełm in five sets in advance of Round 9

Barkom Każany Lwów kicked off Round 9 of 2025/26 PlusLiga with a 2-3 (25:19, 23:25, 25:23, 23:25, 9:15) victory on the field of newcomers InPost ChKS Chełm.
After losing the opening set, Barkom slowly took control, with both sides traded tight sets, but the Ukrainian team stayed calmer in decisive moments of the match especially in tiebreak, which they won convincingly.
Vasyl Tupchii led the charge with 25 points to his name, earning him the MVP award.
Round 9 will continue tomorrow with other two games: Asseco Resovia Rzeszów will welcome PGE GiEK SKRA Bełchatów in a Plusliga classic while, in the evening, Ślepsk Malow Suwałki will face BOGDANKA LUK Lublin.
