Poland: Round 11 continues – 3 points for Asseco Resovia Rzeszów, Jastrzębski Węgiel and Ślepsk Malow Suwałki

After the early advantage played on November in which Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie won at tie break on the field of Indykpol AZS Olsztyn, and the Thursday success of Energa Trefl Gdańsk over PGE GiEK SKRA Bełchatów, Round 11 of 2025/26 Pluiga continued today with other three games.
The day started with a 3-1 (25:19, 25:22, 27:29, 25:19) home win of Asseco Resovia Rzeszów over Steam Hemarpol Politechnika Częstochowa, who remain to the bottom of the standings with 5 points and only one win this season in Plusliga. Artur Szalpuk, absolute top scorer of the match with 23 points his name, left the court with an impressive 71% in attack, 1 block as well as MVP honors. The winners overpowered Częstochowa also in blocking, scoring 11 points from this element compared to the rivals’ 2.
Three points also for JSW Jastrzębski Węgiel, who won on the field of Barkom Każany Lwów in just three sets, 0-3 (19:25, 17:25, 23:25), led by Michał Gierżot, top scorer for the winners with 17 points through 57% in attack and 4 of his team’s 8 aces, Łukasz Kaczmarek who added 13, and MVP Anton Brehme, almost perfect with 9 points through 75% in attack, 2 blocks and 1 ace.
In the evening, Ślepsk Malow Suwałki celebrated a very important win over newcomers InPost ChKS Chełm, 3-0 (25:23, 25:18, 25:18), leaving alone to the bottom of the standings Częstochowa. Setter Karol Jankiewicz, also contributed with 4 points, earned MVP honors, while Bartosz Filipiak top-scored the winners with 15 points.
Round 11 will close tomorrow with last two games: Cuprum Stilon Gorzów will welcome BOGDANKA LUK Lublin, while PGE Projekt Warszawa will hosts ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle.
