Lublin destroy Resovia to lift 2026 Polish Cup!

In Gran Finale of 2025/26 TAURON Puchar Polski, Polish Cup, BOGDANKA LUK Lublin literally destroyed Asseco Resovia Rzeszów with a clean 3-0 (25:15, 25:20, 25:20) to lift the trophy.
The winners wrote a new chapter in club history as It was the first Polish Cup triumph ever for the Lublin-based side.
The final proved largely one-sided, with the reigning Polish champions dictating play from the very beginning of the match, and Resovia whichstruggled to keep pace in the first two sets, while the third offered a more balanced contest before Lublin closed the contest in straight sets.
The winners dominance was reflected also in the statistics, outperforming their rivals in attack, aces (8–3), blocks (10–6), and committed fewer unforced errors.
Wilfredo Leon led the charge with 15 points to his name, closely followed by Kewin Sasak who added 12 points and Jackson Young with 11 points.
Klemen Čebulj top-scored Resovia with 13 points.
The victory marked Bogdanka’s second trophy of the season under head coach Stéphane Antiga, following their earlier success in the Polish Super Cup.
