Dinamo Bucuresti sweep Poitiers in first game of 2025/26 CEV Cup 1/8 Finals

In the opener of 2025/26 CEV Cup 1/8 Finals, Romania’s Dinamo Bucuresti, currently at 4th place in their championship, sweep Alterna SPVB Poitiers (No.5 in French Ligue A after a great straight sets win over Chaumont on Saturday) with a clean 3-0 (25:21, 25:20, 25:23), with an impressive performance in blocking!
In fact, the home side collected as many as 17 winning blocks in just three sets, 9 only from Razvan Mihalcea (11 points for him at the end of the match, in double digit together with Mircea Peta and Petar Premovic, who added 13 and 12, respectively).
Thomas Pujol top-scored Poitiers with 13 points too, with his team which needed to win 3-0 or 3-1 in second leg, scheduled next Tuesday, January 27, and then also decisive Golden Set.
