France: Cannes shock Tourcoing in a game that closed Round 20!

Fragmented Round 20 of 2025/26 MARMARA Spike League, started on Thursday with the derby between Sète and Montpellier, has been completed today with the clash between Cannes and Tourcoing, ended with the score of 3-2 (24:26, 19:25, 25:21, 25:23, 15:12) in favor of the hosts!
Despite 30 points from absolute top scorer Venislav Antov (52% in attack and 1 ace) and 12 winning blocks, the hosts were able to capitalize in key moments of the game, above all in an exciting fourth set, in which they rejected Tourcoing’s comeback after a 21-18 lead.
Xander Ketrzynski led the charge with 23 points to his name including 3 of the winners’ 6 aces, a block and 45% in attack, while libero Okan Demiryurek earned MVP honors.
Cannes will return to the field again already on Thursday with the advance of Round 21 on the field of Paris.
