Challenge Cup: Tel-Aviv down Bratislava at tie break. Lindemans Aalst first team qualified to semifinals!

Quarterfinals of 2025/26 CEV Challenge Cup continued today with first win and first team who will progress to semifinals: Lindemans Aalst from Belgium who, after a tie break win in first leg at home, tremble wasting a 0-2 lead in Greece, on the field of PAOK Thessaloniki.
If the home team had also won the decisive fifth set, the Golden Set would have been played, but in the end the Belgians regrouped to close the game 12-15, also earning their ticket to the next stage of the competition, 2-3 (20:25, 21:25, 25:18, 25:23, 12:15).
Meanwhile, Maccabi Tel-Aviv from Israel won first leg against VK Slovan Bratislava with the score of 2-3 (25:21, 19:25, 25:22, 24:26, 12:15) too, and second leg will be played already tomorrow also at Bratislava’s Sport Hall Gopass Arena.
