Poland: Round 22 continues – tie break wins for Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie and BOGDANKA LUK Lublin. Częstochowa stun Jastrzębski!

After the advance played yesterday, in which Indykpol AZS Olsztyn won on the field of ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle by 1-3, Round 22 of 2025/26 Plusliga continued today with other three games, delivered high drama including two five-set battles and a vital win in the relegation race.
Current leaders Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie survived a five-set clash, defeating a very combative Energa Trefl Gdańsk by 3–2 (25:23, 21:25, 24:26, 25:22, 15:12) with 25 points from Bartłomiej Bołądź, 18 from MVP Mateusz Bieniek 18, who left the court with 82% in attack, 3 aces and 1 block, and Aaron Russell, who also contributed with 16.
Damian Schulz and Tobias Brand led the rivals’ efforts with 30 and 22 points, respectively.
Bogdanka LUK Lublin rallied from two sets down, claiming a win against Ślepsk Malow Suwałki also at tie break, 3–2 (21:25, 27:29, 25:19, 25:17, 15:4), with 20 points fro MVP Hilir Henno and a contribution also from Aleks Grozdanow and Wilfredo Leon, who added 17 and 13.
In the evening, last-placed Steam Hemarpol Politechnika Częstochowa boosted their survival hopes with an unexpected win over an again disappointing JSW Jastrzębski Węgiel, 3–1 (31:29, 25:20, 17:25, 25:20), with 20 points each from Milad Ebadipour and MVP Bartłomiej Lipiński, while Patrik Indra added 17.
Round 22 will continue tomorrow with other two games: PGE GiEK SKRA Bełchatów will welcome Asseco Resovia Rzeszów while, in the evening, Barkom Każany Lwów will face InPost ChKS Chełm in a very important clash at the bottom of the standings.
