France: Montpellier close Round 22 with a four sets win over Cannes

Round 22 of 2025/26 MARMARA Spike League has been completed today with the clash between Cannes and No.2 Montpellier.
Predictions respected with the visiting side who collected seventh win in a row counting all competitions, including two games of Champions League against italian powerhouse Cucine Lube Civitanova and Belgium’s Leuven.
But not only as, with a 1-3 (24:26, 25:19, 21:25, 20:25) win, they now sit at -1 with 34 points from leaders Tours, unexpectedly defeated yesterday on the field of Poitiers!

Great volleyball in France will continue already on Tuesday with both semifinals of Coupe de France, in which superfavorite Tours will welcome Nice, and Paris will face Chaumont, both starting at 8pm local time, while Marmara Spike League resumes on Thursday with the advance of Round 23 between Paris and Montpellier.
