Del Monte®Supercoppa: Final is Perugia – Verona! Trento and Civitanova defeated in semifinals

Great volleyball came to Trieste today with both semifinals of Del Monte®Supercoppa 2025, with Sir Susa Scai Perugia and Rana Verona who will face each others in tomorrow’s Gran Finale.
The first one sweep Itas Trentino celebrating a clean 0-3 (19:25, 20:25, 20:25) to play their 8th Supercup final in club’s history!
In a game in which both sides suffered their respective absences, Yuki Ishikawa and Agustin Loser for the winners, and Alessandro Michieletto for Trento, Wassim Ben Tara, top scorer of the match, led the charge with 21 points through 61% in attack, 2 aces and 2 blocks, while Oleh Plotnytskyi added 17 including 2 aces and 1 block, and Roberto Russo left the court also in double digit with 10.
Perugia closed the game with 58% of team performance in attack, 7 aces (3 only from Kamil Semeniuk) and 7 blocks.
In second semifinal, Verona eliminated Cucine Lube Civitanova winning the game with the score of 1-3 (25:27, 28:30, 25:17, 21:25), with 24 points from Noumory Keita (69% in attack and 2 aces) and 18 by Darlan.
Aleksandar Nikolov scored as many as 26 points on the other side of the net (8 only in first set, and 4 aces and powerful attacks in third one, until the 9-2!).
