France: Sète sweep Cannes in advance of Round 25 to officially claim ticket for playoffs!

In advance of 2025/26 Marmara Spike League Round 25, penultimate of regular season, Sète officially claim their ticket for playoffs after a 3-0 (25:23, 26:24, 25:20) over Cannes, a result that push them, at least temporarily, at 5th place in the standings at -2 from Toulouse, who will face Poitiers on Saturday.
Setter Angel Trinidad De Haro earned MVP honors also contributing with 5 points, all in attack, sending three of his players in double digit: Benedikt Sablatnig, top scorer with 12 points to his name, together with Hugo de Leon Nooa Marttila, who added 10 aces.
The winners made the difference also from the serve’s line, recording 9 aces (4 only from De Leon).
Xander Ketrzynski top-scored Cannes with 13 points, while Joao Noleto added 10 (62% in attack and 2 blocks), but they weren’t enough to snatch at least one set.
Cannes remain at 9th place in the standings at -1 from Nice, on the field of last-placed Ajaccio on Saturday, and +1 from Narbonne, who will face No.2 Montpellier on the road on Saturday too.
Round 25 will continue tomorrow with the clash between No.3 Tourcoing and No.7 Plessis Robinson, who won a game last week after 8 losses in a row!
