Italy: Modena sweep Cuneo to take the ticket for Semifinals for 5th Place

In 2025/26 Superlega CredemBanca Playoffs for 5th Place, after sweep the rivals on Easter Monday, Valsa Group Modena did the same in Cuneo and sweep the hosts MA Acqua San Bernardo Cuneo also in straight sets, 0-3 (17:25, 25:27, 19:25), in an almost one-sided game.
After a clean win in first set, 17-25, the winners showed composure and resilience in second one ended overtime (25-27), to then closed the game in third set, 19-25.
Paul Buchegger left the court as top scorer with 16 points to his name, while Bento and Massari added 11 and 9, respectively. Nathal Feral top-scored the hosts with 10 points.
In Semifinal, they’ll face Allianz Milano, who yesterday eliminated Cisterna Volley, while Itas Trentino will face Vero Volley Monza in the other semifinal.
