Poland: Norwid Częstochowa in Plusliga also in 2026/27 season

The Polish Volleyball League S.A. announces on April 22, 2026, together with Polish Volleyball Federation, in connection with the withdraw of Jastrzębski Węgiel in PlusLiga competitions in the 2026/2027 season, that Norwid Częstochowa, which closed the ongoing season in last place in regular season, retains eligibility to participate in PlusLiga competitions in the 2026/2027 season.
The Management Board also emphasizes that this announcement does not affect the applicable rules for promotion to PlusLiga. In the 2026/27 season, a First League club or another entity designated by the Polish Volleyball Federation (PZPS) may be admitted to the competition, provided they meet all requirements set forth in the Regulations.
