Raul Lozano unveils Ukraine’s 2026 VNL Roster

Ukraine head coach Raul Lozano has named his 20-men squad for the 2026 Volleyball Nations League, with the return of star outside hitter Oleh Plotnytskiy.
The Italian powerhouse’s Perugia player rejoins the national team after his last appearance for Ukraine in 2023.
Among the others also middle blocker Yuriy Semenyuk of Poland’s PGE Projekt Warszawa, as well as four players of Barkom-Kazhany Lviv, currently competing in Poland’s PlusLiga, Illia Kovalov, Yaroslav Pampushko, Vladyslav Shchurov, and Vasyl Tupchii.

Ukraine will open training camp in early May before a series of friendly matches.

Setters: Vitaliy Shchetkov, Yuriy Synytsya, Serhiy Yevstratov

Outside Hitters: Ilia Kovalov, Tymofiy Poluyan, Oleh Plotnytskiy, Yevhen Kisiliuk, Dmytro Yanchuk, Oleksandr Nalozhnyi

Opposites: Oleksandr Boyko, Vasyl Tupchiii, Maksym Tonkonog
