France: Montpellier and Poitiers to final! Sète and Paris eliminated in decisive Game 2

Best-of-three semifinal series of 2025/26 MARMARA Spike League continued today with both verdicts: Montpellier and Poitiers to final!
The first one, after a thrilling four-sets win a week ago on the field of Sète, literally destroyed the rivals in front of their home fans to take the ticket for final, the first one after 2021/22 season (in which they won the title against Tours).
With a great team performance in attack (60% efficiency), and a solid performance in all elements, the winners were led in score by Simon Hirsch, top scorer of the match with 15 points to his name through 58% in attack, 1 block and 3 aces, and Tomas Lopez Pascual, who added 13 through 64% in attack, 3 blocks and 1 ace, while Nooa Marttila was the only player on the other side of the net in double digit, recording 11 points.
Meanwhile, after a fatal 0-3 home defeat in Game 1, Paris closed their seasonal path with a 3-2 (21:25, 18:25, 25:20, 25:17, 15:13) defeat on the field of Poitiers, after wasting a 0-2 lead.
For the team of country’s capital, though, this was a great end of the season with 11 wins in their last 15 games, including the Coupe de France title and two amazing victories against regular season winners Tours in quartertfinals!
With this victory, Poitiers back to the final for second time in a row, after the one played last season but lost against Tours (prior to it, their last final dates back even to 2012!), and will search for their third title after 1999 and 2011!
