Italy: Guillermo Falasca new head coach of Allianz Milano. Leandro Mosca first new face of Cuneo

Double official news today from Italy for 2026/27 season: after saying good bye to head coach Roberto Piazza, who made history of Allianz Milano after as many as 7 seasons at the helm of the club, more precisely since 2019/20 season, Milano announced Guillermo Falasca as new head coach.
Born in Argentina, as a player (setter), he played also in Italy with the jerseys of Vibo Valentia, Forlì, Piacenza, Santa Croce and Taviano, while with Spain National Team he won Gold Medal at European Championship in Russia, in 2007. As head coach, he won Cev Challenge Cup 2022 at the helm of France’s Narbonne, with an historical win over Halkbank Ankara!
In Cisterna, he qualified to Coppa Italia quarterfinals and playoffs.
Meanwhile, Cuneo Volley announced their first new player, middle blocker Leandro Monza, last season in Vero Volley Monza, with experience in elite italian championship also with Verona and Milano.
Cuneo, who recently confirmed middle blocker Lorenzo Codarin, libero Domenico Cavaccini, outside hitter Alexandre Strehlau, opposite Nathal Feral, said goodbye to legendary Ivan Zaytsev and Aleksandar Stefanovic.
