Micah Christenson and Matt Anderson, will close their legendary international careers after the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games on their home soil.
Christenson confirmed that he is 100% committed to playing in Los Angeles if selected, hoping to finish his national team career in front of family, friends, and home fans before potentially retiring from international volleyball.
Anderson has likewise revealed that the 2028 Olympics are expected to be the final act of his legendary career. After taking a break following the Paris Olympics to focus on his family, the American star is now aiming for one last Olympic run before bringing an extraordinary international journey to a close.

“For me, it’s the highest honour in our sport, to compete for our country on the biggest stages,” he said. “I’m definitely in the end stages of my career and it’s humbling and invigorating at the same time. I have a few more years to put everything I have left out on the court, and I hope that ending moment is in LA.”
