In Italy, former setter Marco Falaschi has taken on a new role just a few months after bringing his playing career to an end, becoming the new team manager of Verona Volley.

In Poland, young the 19-year-old Polish opposite Marcel KiciÅski joins Cuprum Stilon Gorzów.
The new player has been part of GdaÅskās volleyball scene for several years, and during the 2024/25 season, he represented SMS PZPS SpaÅa, while previously playing for Trefl GdaÅskās youth teams.
In Romania, Mateusz Jóźwik returns to CS Rapid BucureČti.
The 30-year-old outside hitter played for Rapid during the first part of the 2025/26 season before joining Al Muharraq.
At international level, Argentina completed an unbeaten campaign at the South American Menās Volleyball Cup by defeating Brazil 3-2 (21:25, 25:21, 20:25, 25:20, 15:10) in a dramatic final in Cochabamba at the JosĆ© Casto MĆ©ndez Coliseum, bringing five days of continental competition to a close.
Brazil captain Maicon Dos Santos produced a match-high 24 points, but Argentina found the decisive edge in the fifth set, led by IƱaki Ramos who recorded 23 points.
Colombia secured the bronze medal after beating Chile in straight sets, 25:23, 27:25, 25:22. Miguel Ćngel MartĆnez āArmarantoā scored 20 points and ended the competition as its leading scorer with 97 points overall.
Hosts Bolivia took fifth place with a 3-1 victory over Venezuela. After losing the opening set 18-25, they responded with three consecutive wins, 25-22, 25-23 and 25-23 with 19 points from Pablo Choque.
Peru finished seventh after defeating Paraguay 3-0 (25:18, 25:18, 25:17), with Leonel Despaigne scoring 11 points.
Argentina topped the final standings ahead of Brazil and Colombia, followed by Chile, Bolivia, Venezuela, Peru and Paraguay.
Australia Dominate Oceania!
The Volleyroos have dominated the Oceania Volleyball Zonal Championships in Guam, clinching gold in both the menās and womenās competitions!
With their victories, both Australian teams have officially qualified for the 2027 AVC Volleyball Cup.
Strong Group Athletics Chairman Frank Lao has been elected as the new President of the Philippine National Volleyball Federation (PNVF).
