Turkey will have to face the upcoming CEV Enel EuroVolley 2026 without Ramazan Efe Mandıracı, with the Turkish Volleyball Federation (TVF) officially confirming that the outside hitter has been removed from the senior national team roster due to persistent problems with his right shoulder.

He has been dealing with the issue since the club season and had already begun a treatment and rehabilitation programme. During that process, another health problem emerged and was given priority, with that course of treatment subsequently completed.
However, further medical examinations carried out during Turkey’s EuroVolley preparation revealed that his right shoulder had not recovered to the expected level.

According to the TVF, a partial injury affecting the relevant muscle groups is still present, meaning that the player will require approximately another six weeks of recovery.
Following the latest medical assessment, the Turkish national team staff and the federation therefore decided to remove the player from the senior roster, allowing him to continue his treatment and rehabilitation with his club.

His absence comes at an unfortunate moment for Turkey, who are preparing for a demanding European Championship campaign.
The Turkish side has been drawn into Pool D, which will be played in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, alongside hosts Romania, France, Germany, Switzerland and Latvia. The top four teams from the pool will advance to the knockout stage.

For Turkey, losing Mandıracı is particularly significant. The young outside hitter has established himself as one of the most promising players in the country and represents an important offensive option for the national team.
Now, instead of fighting for a place on the court in Cluj-Napoca, Mandıracı will have to concentrate on completing his recovery. With around six more weeks expected to be necessary, the priority will be to make sure that the shoulder is fully healthy before he returns to competitive volleyball.

For Turkey, meanwhile, his absence removes one of their most dynamic attacking weapons from what promises to be a challenging EuroVolley campaign.
