Italy: 3 points for Verona, Padova and Modena in Round 2 for 5th place

Round 2 of Playoffs for 5th place of 2024/25 Superlega CredemBanca has been played throughout the weekend.
On Saturday, Rana Verona celebrated second straight sets win in as many games by beating Cisterna Volley with the score of 3-0 (25:15, 25:18, 25:22) with 14 points from Noumory Keita and 13 from MVP Jordan Ewert.
Straight sets win also for Sonepar Padova, who sweep Yuasa Battery Grottazzolina 3-0 (25:22, 25:19, 25:17), led by MVP Shay Mayo Liberman, who left the court with 15 points to his name, and Valsa Group Modena, who trample over Allianz Milano 0-3 (21:25, 19:25, 24:26) on the road. Josè Miguel Gutierrez, top scorer of the game with 16 points, led the charge, while MVP Pardo Mati, also contributed with 12 including 4 aces.
