Itas Trentino take the eighth victory in a row in Italian Superlega Credem Banca regular season (11th success in a row counting all competitions), thus securing third place in the standings after destroying Allianz Powervolley Milano in a match that lasted only 77 minutes. Milano paid for the absence of the still injured Patry, but also for the forced break for COVID that lasted about a month (Milano returned to the field on Sunday, against Verona, suffering another defeat). Furthermore, the guests were unable to field Urnaut because the original match date is long before his signing. Trento, on the other hand, decides to give Lucarelli rest, putting Kooy on the field. The result is a balanced match until 18:17 of the first set, then the winners take off thanks to the continuity from the service line and too many errors by the guests.
