Sir Susa Scai Perugia continued their impressive start to the 2026/27 SuperLega Credem Banca season with a convincing 0-3 (16:25, 17:25, 22:25) victory over Vero Volley Monza at the Opiquad Arena. The result, which opened the third round of the Regular Season, marked Perugia’s fourth consecutive win in as many appearances, including their earlier fixture in the eleventh round, taking Angelo Lorenzetti’s side to 11 points.

The reigning Italian champions set the tone from the very beginning, imposing their rhythm and keeping Monza under pressure throughout the opening two sets. The visitors established a clear advantage in both, winning 25-16 and 25-17 without allowing their opponents to find a consistent response.
Monza, coached by Massimo Eccheli, showed greater resistance in the third set. The home side raised their level and managed to challenge Perugia for much of the closing stretch, making the visitors work harder to secure the victory. However, when the pressure was at its highest, Oleh Plotnytskyi delivered the decisive attack to seal the set 25-22 and complete the sweep.
Ferre Reggers was named MVP after leading Perugia with 14 points to his name, while Kamil Semeniuk also made a significant contribution, finishing with 13, and Plotnytskyi added nine. On the Monza side, Bulgarian outside hitter Žasmin Velichkov and Diego Frascio were the team’s leading scorers with 11 points apiece, followed by Hryhorii Khotsevitch with seven.

The evening also brought a notable milestone for Sebastian Solé, who recorded his 800th career block in the SuperLega Credem Banca. The Argentine middle blocker finished the match with seven points, adding another memorable achievement to his career in Italian volleyball.

Perugia will now wait for Sunday’s results to see how their position in the standings develops, while the third round continues on November 1.
One of the day’s key fixtures will see newcomers Tinet Prata di Pordenone take on Itas Trentino at 18:00, and the derby between Valsa Group Modena and Rana Verona, at 17.00.
