Turkey, second round. This is a short recap.
In derby, Halkbank defeated Fenerbahce easily in straight sets 3-0 (25-15, 25-22, 25-11), and the Serbian opposite Drazen Luburic was the best scorer with 16 points. However, the absolut top scorer of the round was Daudi Okello, who scored 29 points in a defeat of his team, Tokat Bld. Plevne, against Arkas sport!
In Maliye Piyango’s win, Wendt has ended the match with 28 points, while Metin Toy led Istanbul BBSK with 27 points against Arhavi, that was led by Roman Danilov who score 27 points.
Turgay Dogan, Jeopark Kula’s player, had a very good performance from the service line, scoring 8 aces against Galatasaray. However, his team lost the game in the tie-break. Also, Danilov from Arhavi had a good display from the service line, finishing with 7 aces.
Arkas’ player Hasan Sikar realized 6 blocks in the match against Tokat, which made him the absolut top blocker of the round!
