There are no more undefeated teams in italian Superlega: Monza beating Perugia away in a five-sets battle! Monza have caused a major surprise in this 9th round, beating the undefeated team so far. It was a stunning match, Perugia had everything under control until the start of the fourth set, when the rival raised its level of play, performing much better in attack and defense.
Oleh Plotnytskyi was the top scorer in Monza, and the MVP of the match. Wilfredo Leon ended the match with 20 pointe, including 7 aces, while Aleksandar Atanasijevic added 17.
Ivan Zaytsev with 12 points and Denys Kaliberda with 10 were the top scorers in Modena’s easy victory against Vibo Valentia. Mohamed Al Hachdadi scored 11 points.
A really good performance of the Dutch opposite Nimir Abdel Aziz led Milano to the victory over Calzedonia Verona. He scored 25 points, while on the other side Stephen Boyer had 20 points. However, it was not a good match for Verona, lot of ups and down.
Great victory for Ravenna 3:0 on the field of Sora, with its opposite once again MVP of the match, and author of a great performance with 20 points.
Victory in straight sets also for Latina, at home against Castellana Grotte.
