Superlega: Round 13. Perugia is the winter Champion!

The first leg of italian superlega is ended. Very difficulta match for Trento against Monza, Perugia, Modena and Civitanova victorious!
For Trento, it was the 8th consecutive victory in Superlega and the 16th counting all competitions!
The fourth set between these two teams was really amazing and the home team Monzaa played a stunning game even if Trento somehow managed to win it, 38-36 and later to win the tie-break without lot of difficult 15-8.
Aaron Russell with 20 points and Uros Kovacevic with 19 were the top scorers in Trento, while Donovan Dzavoronok and Oleg Plotnisky scored 21 points each on the other side.
The reigning champions, Perugia, defeated Milano in straight sets. Aleksandar Atanasijevic had a good match and was author of 17 points, while Wilfredo Leon contributed with 11. With this victory, Perugia took the role of a Winter Champion in the Superlega!
Lube Civitanova were led by Osmany Juantorena against Vibo Valentia, who ended the match with 13 points, while Sokolov added 12 and Robertlandy 11.
The match ended in straight sets without any difficult.
Modena also scored a victory, beating Verona in four sets in a good volleyball battle (26-24, 24-26, 25-23, 25-21). Tine Urnaut was the best scorer with 21 points, and Ivan Zaytsev contributed with 15. In Verona, Matey Kaziyski had another good performance and scored 18 points.
Good match also for Latina, which won against Padova in four sets led by an excellent Ngapeth, who ended the match with 27 points!
Super match for Sora: victory on Castellana’s court in four sets with a superb match of Petkovic, who ended the game with 31 points, and the curtain is closed with the victory of Ravenna at tie break against Siena.
