After a balanced start, Monza tries to take the lead, with a Plotnytskyi’s block on Al Hachdadi (7-4). However, an attack by Skrimov nullifies the advantage, and is now 8-8. Al Hachdadi, one of the best players in Superlega, is still not get into the game and suffers another block, this time from Yosifov (10-8), and with two aces of Dzavoronok Monza flies on 15-10.
Maximum advantage for Monza, and on 17-11 rightly the guests ask for the time out. The reception of Vibo Valentia wobbles, and an excellent turn at the service of Plotnytskyi, which ends on 23-16, allows Monza to put their signature on the first set, closed by a Yosifov’s block 25-19.
Second set very similar to the first: Monza take a double advantage, immediately canceled by a Kadu’s block on Ghafour. Vibo puts his head forward with an attack out by Plotnytskyi, but Monza manages to get the lead back, with a Beretta’s attack that scores the 20-18. Third set one-way: Monza starts very well, and Vibo Valentia immediately stops the game calling a time-out on 8-5. Another great turn at the service of Plotnytskyi, and Beretta is the author of the ace of 12-6. Change of setter for Vibo Valentia on 13-6: Marsili in place of Zhukouski. Plotnytskyi puts the ball of 17-12, and Monza wins in straight sets, 25-17 is the result of the last partial.
