#ChampionsLeague: Tours down Arkas Izmir at tie break, Perugia unstoppable, Lube end Modena’s road to the quarterfinals, and the others of Round 4.

Tours have scored the second victory in the Pool D of the CEV Champions League. They barely managed to win the match after beating Arkas Izmir in tie-break.
The match took place under the eyes of Laurent Tillie, the coach of the national team of France.
For Arkas, opposite Yigit Gülmezoglu was not in the starting six and Gazmend Husaj, outside spiker of Tours, did not play because he is still recovering from an ankle injury.
Hermans Egleskalns, the Latvian opposite of Tours was the best scorer with 26 points while the outside-hitter Robert Täht was the top scorer of Arkas Izmir with 22 points:
It was an interesting game. It was a great war. The atmosphere here in Tours is amazing – this is what we play for. About the game – we played without an opposite this evening, we played with three outside hitters for the first time this season. It was completely different than what we are used to,” says Taht.

Perugia unstoppable in Pool F: they have confirmed the place in the quarterfinals after the fifth round. In Moscow, Perugia won the match in four sets!
Aleksandar Atanasijevic scored 23 points to become the top scorer of the game while Wilfredo Leon contributed with 17 points. In Dinamo, Romanas Shkulyavichus ended the match with 19 points.
Zaksa stay in the race for quarterfinals, after beating Karlovarsko in straight sets. Alexander Sliwka scored 16 points, while Mateusz Bieniek had 14 points.
Zenit St. Petersburg have kept the first place and we can say that they are very close to advancing to the quarterfinals. Oreol Camejo was the top scorer in Zenit with 20 points, while Georg Grozer added 19.
Lube Civitanova end Modena’s road to the quarterfinals: Modena have ended their participation in the CEV Champions League! With this defeat, there are almost no chances to stay in the race for the quarterfinals, Lube won the match in four sets.
Tsvetan Sokolov was the man of the match for Lube with 21 points, while Osmany Juantorena contributed with 20. In the home team, that played without injured Christenson, Tine Urnaut scored 20 points.
BR Volleys victorious in Belgium: Greenyard Maaseik didn’t manage to win the match against BR Volleys.
