2 min read

The reigning champions of Zenit Kazan have scored the fifth victory in the CEV Champions League group stage.
It is well known that Zenith Kazan has already claimed the spot in the quarterfinal and this victory is only a confirmation of it.
In the match against the German team from FrankfĂźrt, Maxim Mikhaylov didn’t even travel to Germany and Andrey Surmachevckiy was the author of 21 points, while Earvin Ngapeth contributed with 19.
Gdansk have made a big step since they booked the quarterfinal spot after beating PGE Skra Belchatow in five sets. With this victory, they are staying in the first place in Pool B and they will stay in that place even after the last round, which means they will advance to the next round.
Skra Belchatow have suffered the sixth consecutive defeat, counting all competition.
In this match, Maciej Muzaj was the most dominant player in the home team with 21 points, while Renee Teppan had 28 on the other side.
